Tank T-72M1 Czech Republic Ukraine

Kyiv may receive another 40 T-72M1 tanks from the Czech Republic

Kyiv is actively working to restore its tank fleet, counting on the support of Western countries, which, in turn, are developing cooperation on the principles of “military barter.” In this context, Germany promises the Czech Republic to provide 14 Leopard 2A4 tanks and one Bergepanzer 3 Büffel technical support vehicle free of charge. This proposal becomes relevant provided that the Czech Republic sends modernized T-72M1 tanks to Ukraine, we are talking about 40 units in total.

In addition, Ukraine will receive additional ammunition. The foreign ministers of Great Britain and Poland, in a joint letter published on the pages of Politico, call on allied countries to audit their arsenals. They propose transferring all available resources to Ukraine, including expired ammunition, Soviet-made systems and equipment, and long-range missiles. The importance of continuing the training of Ukrainian military personnel is also pointed out.
