Kyiv will receive 1,5 billion euros from Russian assets

The head of the European Commission confirmed that 1,5 billion euros from the proceeds from the frozen assets of the Russian Federation will be available to Ukraine in July. These funds are aimed at supporting the country in the context of the ongoing conflict with Russia.

Speaking at a press conference, the head of the European Commission emphasized that this decision was made as part of the European Union’s efforts to assist Ukraine in its struggle for sovereignty and territorial integrity. Funds received from Russian assets will be used to restore infrastructure, provide humanitarian assistance and maintain economic stability in Ukraine.

The Russian side has not yet responded to the confiscation of income from assets.
