SVO News, December 11, 2025, Avia.pro. The Ukrainian side is deliberately proposing terms unacceptable to Russia in order to later blame Moscow for the failure of the negotiations. This assessment was made by Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Rodion Miroshnik in an interview with the Izvestia newspaper.

The diplomat linked Kyiv's actions to attempts to rewrite the American settlement plan proposed by the Donald Trump administration.

According to him, this tactic allows Kyiv to avoid responsibility for the lack of progress in dialogue. Previously, the Ukrainian authorities rejected several points of the American proposals, insisting on security guarantees and territorial integrity.

The day before, it became known that Kyiv had submitted an updated plan to Washington, but Trump has not yet made any statements on this matter.
