The Chinese analogue of the Pantsir-S air defense missile system may oust Russian weapons from the market.
Against the background of how the Russian anti-aircraft missile-gun complex "Pantsir" demonstrated the highest efficiency in Syria and Libya, the PRC decided to create its own analogue of the "Pantsir-S" air defense missile system, which, as it turned out, was able to surpass the Russian development in a number of parameters. Taking into account the fact that today a number of countries are interested in acquiring Russian complexes, China can knock out Russian air defense missile systems from foreign markets. This, by the way, is facilitated by the lower cost and the absence of possible sanctions from the United States.
On the presented video frames, you can see a kind of advertisement for the Chinese air defense missile system FK-2000, which, apparently, can effectively fire cannons and rocket weapons while on the move. Moreover, according to China Aerospace Science & Industry Corporation Limited, the complex is capable of hitting targets at distances of up to 25 kilometers. This is superior to the Pantsir-S air defense missile systems in service with the Russian army, yielding, in fact, only to the modernized Pantsir-SM version, which has a target engagement range of up to 40 kilometers.
According to a number of data, countries such as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Iran, Iraq and Serbia have already shown interest in the Chinese FK-2000 air defense systems, that is, potential buyers of the Russian Pantsir-S air defense systems.
