North Korea will not send volunteers to Donbass - negotiations are not underway

The Russian Foreign Ministry denied information about sending volunteers from the DPRK to the Donbass.

Despite earlier reports that Pyongyang had made an offer to send up to 100 of its volunteers to the Donbass, it became known that such information was unreliable. It was officially refuted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

Initially, information about the sending of volunteers from the DPRK to the Donbass appeared on the air of the SolovievLive channel, which was explained primarily by the fact that Nancy Pelosi angered Pyongyang by sending them to South Korea. Nevertheless, as it turned out, negotiations on this subject with the DPRK were not even conducted - according to the Russian Foreign Ministry, the information is a lie and is fake.

“Reports about the proposal of the DPRK to send its volunteers to participate in a special operation in Ukraine are fake, such negotiations are not ongoing”, - reports the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

In turn, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea is one of the countries that has recognized the sovereignty of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics. This does not exclude the possibility that in the future Pyongyang may well provide assistance to the states of Donbass, including military assistance, however, obviously, there is no such need for this yet.
