The 1 of May. Airports in the UK have experienced a real collapse due to a computer glitch, as a result of which, flights from airports such as heathrow, Gatwick, Birmingham and Stasted were detained for more than several hours.

It is reported that most of the incident affected travelers who are not EU citizens. The computer malfunction itself occurred in the passport control department, as a result of which passengers had to spend up to 40 minutes of time only for identity control and document verification.

It is worth noting that the situation at major UK airports has already returned to normal and the computer crash problems have been eliminated.
