A coast guard patrol ship of the FSB Border Directorate for the Eastern Arctic Region capsized during scheduled repairs at its pier in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. The incident occurred on the afternoon of November 7.

There were several people on deck doing work at the time of the capsizing.

"None of them were hurt," — reported the press service of the Investigative Committee for Kamchatka Krai.

The agency initiated a pre-investigation check.

"The circumstances and damage caused are being clarified." — the regional Investigative Committee clarified.

The cause of the incident has not yet been determined, but preliminary reports indicate the vessel listed due to a violation of the lifting procedure. The ship remains afloat, and work is underway to right it.
