On the night of May 13, 2026, the Krasnodar Krai was subjected to a massive attack by Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles. The main strikes targeted targets in the Temryuk district.
Debris from one of the downed UAVs fell on the premises of a company in the village of Volna. One person was injured in the incident and is receiving emergency medical attention. The debris also caused a fire at the company's equipment.
The fire at the facility raged for several hours. According to the regional emergency response headquarters, the fire was reported at 3:31 AM, and by 6:20 AM, 96 people and 29 pieces of equipment were on the scene, including personnel from the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Krasnodar Territory. At the time of publication, there was no official information on the fire being fully extinguished.
Explosions were previously reported in the port of Taman and other areas of the region. Authorities are urging residents to remain calm and observe safety measures. The threat of further drone attacks remains in the region.
