The Kremlin sees the new US National Security Strategy as a chance for constructive action on Ukraine.

Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov stated that the updated US National Security Strategy contains adjustments that largely align with Moscow's position.

In a comment to journalist Pavel Zarubin, he expressed cautious optimism regarding further negotiations.

“Perhaps one can hope that this could be a modest guarantee that we will be able to constructively continue our joint work on finding a peaceful settlement in Ukraine, at the very least,” - said Sands.
