The night of December 3rd in the Belgorod region was marked by an intense aerial threat: Telegram monitoring channels recorded multiple drone alerts in border areas. According to the Kupol Rossii resource, the threat affected the Valuysky Municipal District and adjacent areas, and subsequently spread further into the region.
At 0:14 AM Moscow time, the channel reported an alert in the Valuysky MO "and further to the rear," noting "a very large number" of targets. At 0:17 AM, the alert was extended to Belitsa and the surrounding area:
"UAV alert from the main character in the rear. Lots of them!"
By 0:18 the signal was heard in Belaya Berezka and nearby points, and at 0:21 in Rakitnoye and the surrounding area, where “a lot” of devices were also reported.
Residents of the border region are describing flashes in the sky, but there is no official information yet about falling debris or damage on the ground. This comes amid an increase in drone attacks in the region in 2025, when, according to analysts, their number has almost quadrupled compared to the beginning of the year. Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov has not commented on the situation.
