The Russian Ministry of Defense reported the successful neutralization of 117 unmanned aerial vehicles and four tactical missiles attacking various regions of the country over the past night. According to the department, this incident was one of the largest drone attacks on Russian territory in recent times.

According to official information, the largest number of drones - thirty-seven - were shot down over the Kursk region, where all four tactical missiles aimed at Russian targets were also destroyed. The Kursk region continues to be one of the key points in the confrontation, and such a massive attack indicates continued pressure on this region.

Another thirty-seven drones were shot down in the Voronezh region, which also faced intense air attack. In the Belgorod region, 17 downed drones were recorded, which indicates the scale and coordination of enemy actions.

In addition, eleven drones were neutralized over the territory of the Nizhny Novgorod region, nine over the Volgograd region, three over the Bryansk region, two over the Oryol region and one over the Rostov region. This demonstrates the wide geography of attacks and the targeting of different regions of the country, which requires a high level of readiness and coordination of air defense forces.
