Judging by the photographs, the plane literally broke in two at the moment of impact, indicating a structural failure. The incident occurred earlier this week in the Ivanovo region, where the An-22 crashed on December 9.

According to preliminary reports, there were seven people on board, all of whom, unfortunately, died. The Russian Investigative Committee confirmed the crash, but the cause remains under investigation.
