The Ukrainian 19Zh6 radar turned on at the wrong moment - a few minutes before the Kh-31 cruise missile hit.

The X-31 anti-radar missile allowed the Ukrainian 19Zh6 radar to work for only a few minutes. As a result of a high-precision missile hit, the mobile radar was turned into a pile of scrap metal and it was possible to identify it only thanks to individual fragments and structural elements of the S-300 complex radar.

In the presented photographs, which were at the disposal of the Avia.pro news agency, one can see the consequences of an ultra-precise strike by a Kh-31 cruise missile. The fact that the blow was delivered by this particular missile is evidenced by the fragments of this ammunition found nearby. As a result of a high-precision hit, the radar, in the literal sense, turned into a pile of scrap metal. Moreover, which is very remarkable, the latter was never able to detect a supersonic missile or, most likely, discovered it when the latter captured its target.

Notable is the fact that the 19Zh6 radar was destroyed just a few minutes after its activation. This indicates that there was an aircraft nearby, which made a successful launch of a cruise missile.

How many more S-300 systems and radars that are part of these systems may be in service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine is unknown, however, given the intentions of the West to provide Kyiv with foreign systems, this suggests that Ukraine's air defense systems are running out.
