Late at night, the Ukrainian Air Force (UAF) faced a new air attack. According to Ukrainian media, a series of six cruise missiles were fired at Ukrainian military facilities, and five shahid drones were also used. According to official figures, four missiles and three drones were shot down. This was announced during the telethon, where the speaker of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ignat spoke.

He noted that two of the six missiles launched hit a strategically important facility - an operational airfield located near the city of Kropyvnytskyi.

"The cruise missiles did not destroy everything, four out of six were destroyed. Unfortunately, they hit the operational airfield near Kropyvnytskyi"- said Ignat.

In addition, the defeat of various objects in the Sumy region was noted.

Apparently, the key goal of the attack was to destroy military airfields, and not only to destroy the equipment based here, but also to destroy the infrastructure necessary for the future use of F-16 fighter jets by Ukraine.
