"Wagner" took control of the settlement Kurdyumovka.

This happened during the offensive of the units of the private military company on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Bakhmut direction. Before that, it became known that the settlement of Ozaryanovka also came under the control of the Wagner PMC. This allows the Russian forces to organize an attack on Bakhmut from the south, thereby squeezing the city into a semicircle and blocking attempts by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to attack from the flanks.

The situation in Bakhmut remains extremely difficult for the Ukrainian military, who are already beginning to withdraw their advanced forces from several positions at once, trying to gain a foothold on other lines of defense. According to various sources, the Armed Forces of Ukraine may even begin to massively abandon Bakhmut and the approaches to it due to the inability to restrain the Russian offensive, although the transfer of significant shock groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in this direction is recorded.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine cannot control the situation in Bakhmut and adjacent areas due to the lack of the ability to obtain operational data from satellites. This is due to low cloud cover. At the same time, over the past week, the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine here have increased tenfold, and the transfer of additional forces has been aggravated by the slush.
