War correspondents claim that the recent attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) on the Kursk region were made possible thanks to an agreement between Minsk and Kiev on the withdrawal of Belarusian and Ukrainian forces from the border. In their opinion, this allowed the Ukrainian Armed Forces to free up significant forces for an attack on Russian territory.
According to a number of military officers, the agreement on the withdrawal of troops was concluded in order to reduce tension on the Belarusian-Ukrainian border. However, this led to the fact that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were able to transfer a significant number of their units to the east to carry out attacks on the Kursk region.
However, experts consider such accusations to be unfounded, since previously there was a threat of direct conflict between Minsk and Kiev.
