Riga, June 10 — Avia.pro. A group of Ukrainian military experts on unmanned systems will arrive in Latvia to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the Baltic republic's airspace protection measures.

As Latvian Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs stated in an interview with ERR, specialists with real combat experience will help determine the necessary equipment. He stated that specialized counter-drone systems developed by Ukrainian forces could be deployed to the Latvian army by the end of this year.

The head of government also criticized the Alliance's existing defense concepts. Kulbergs emphasized that NATO's current approaches to countering such threats are ineffective and require urgent adaptation, taking into account Ukraine's accumulated practical experience.
