On the night of May 13, 2026, the Lipetsk region was attacked by Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles. At 03:27 AM, regional Governor Igor Artamonov announced a drone strike alert for the entire region. Residents were advised to seek shelter in windowless, solid-walled buildings.

According to Telegram monitoring channels, the threat of drone attacks is being recorded in the city of Yelets, as well as in the Yeletsky, Dolgorukovsky, Stanovlyansky, and Izmalkovsky municipal districts.
