Lithuania will transfer analogues of Russian Lancet drones to Ukraine

The Lithuanian Ministry of Defense announced the transfer of new developments of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to the armed forces of Ukraine. This decision is aimed at assessing the capabilities of these devices in real combat conditions and their further improvement. In particular, a batch of Lithuanian analogues of the Lancet, recently presented at a drone exhibition, will be transferred to Ukraine.

Lithuanian UAVs, developed by the country's military-industrial complex, are designed to perform various tasks on the battlefield, including reconnaissance and strikes. The exact number of drones to be transferred remains unknown, however, the first batch could include up to 20 drones, while the production capacity of such kamikaze drones per month could reach 50 units.
