During a visit to the 465th Missile Brigade on May 21, 2026, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko declared the Iskander-M system "his dream vehicle," according to the Telegram channel "Pul Pervogo."
"I once dreamed of this vehicle. And today we have more than one. And you know better than me that this is a good weapon," Lukashenko said, addressing the servicemen.
He also inspected the brigade's combat readiness, which has been fully re-equipped with Russian tactical missile systems. The head of state spoke with the military and inspected the weapons and equipment.
As a reminder, on May 21, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the delivery of special ammunition for the Iskander-M to the missile brigade's field storage facilities in Belarus as part of joint nuclear exercises.
