Lukashenko again goes to Putin for a loan of $ 3 billion, but refuses to recognize Crimea

Lukashenka again needed a Russian loan - this time 3 billion rubles.

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko intends to travel to Moscow again to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to the Belarusian media, the purpose of the visit will be another "knocking out" of the loan - this time it is just a cosmic sum of $ 3 billion.

If a few months ago the Belarusian leader openly stated that the economy of Belarus is self-sufficient and does not need foreign loans, now it became known that Minsk needed a huge amount for unknown purposes. At the same time, the Belarusian leader is far from working in Russia's interests, continuing to flirt with the West and even refuses to recognize Russian sovereignty over Crimea.

“For $ 3 billion, Russia can supply its troops with 85 fifth-generation Su-57 fighters, build several warships, etc. What is the interest simply to lower this amount to support Lukashenka's ambitions? Should such an ally as Lukashenka be trusted? Obviously not. ", - the expert marks.

Experts, in turn, note that Moscow is unlikely to provide Belarus with such an impressive amount, since there is no real return from Minsk and should not be expected.

"to recognize the Crimea" is to recognize Hitler's right to annex the Sudetenland, Austria

"this time 3 billion rubles." or "just a cosmic sum of $ 3 billion"? The author would have decided.

It’s a pity, perhaps, not out of my own pocket. He has a lot of them (people's money).
