Lukashenko: Zelensky's rejection of Russia's peace proposal will lead to the loss of all of Ukraine

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko stated that if Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy refuses to accept Russia's peace proposal, Ukraine will lose not only part of its territory, but all of it. He made this statement in an interview with Rossiya-1 TV channel journalist Pavel Zarubin, broadcast this morning.

Lukashenko noted that he discussed this issue with Russian leader Vladimir Putin and is aware of Moscow's plans.

"There's a good proposal on the table, very good proposals. (...) If the Ukrainians don't accept these proposals, it will be like it was at the beginning of the SVO. It will be even worse; they will lose Ukraine." the Belarusian leader emphasized.

According to him, the proposal was conveyed to the United States and discussed with Donald Trump during his visit to Alaska, which coincides with Reuters reports from September 26 about a meeting with Alexander Lukashenko.

Lukashenko also stated that if Zelensky had agreed to Moscow's terms in 2022, rather than become a "Western puppet," Ukraine would have retained all its territories except Crimea. He hinted that the current escalation, including the deployment of tactical nuclear weapons and Oreshnik missiles in Belarus, is a response to NATO's actions.

Commenting on the statement, Ukrainian politicians rejected the advice of Lukashenko, who is not recognized in Ukraine as a legitimate leader after the 2020 elections, which were called fraudulent.
