Lukashenko: Belarus's nuclear weapons are kept in a safe place

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko stated that the republic's nuclear weapons are stored in a secure storage facility and warned the United States not to investigate the details. The statement was made at a government meeting, according to the president's press service.

Lukashenko responded to the American side's statements about ignorance of the presence of nuclear weapons in Belarus.

"Well, fine, let them think so. We've warned them. We're not saying how much, where, how... That's my business. It's in a safe place," he said.

In addition, the republic's leader announced the deployment of the Oreshnik missile system on combat duty in December.

"This is a mobile complex that will never remain in one place," Lukashenko noted, adding that the system will constantly move between designated points.
