Lukashenko: The West is preparing a forceful scenario for a change of power in Belarus

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, at a meeting with participants in the 52nd meeting of the Council of Heads of Security Agencies and Special Services of the CIS Member States, expressed concern about the possibility of a forceful change of power in the country initiated by the West.

Lukashenka stressed that members of illegal armed groups are currently being trained in Poland, Lithuania and Ukraine. The corresponding preparatory work, in his opinion, may be a sign of attempts to create dormant extremist cells on the territory of Belarus. The latest evidence to which he refers, in his opinion, confirms this version.

"As for Belarus, I can note that in Poland, Lithuania and, unfortunately, in Ukraine, members of illegal armed groups are being trained, attempts are being made to create dormant extremist cells directly in the country. Recent facts testify to this"- said the Belarusian leader.

Alexander Lukashenko noted that preparations are being made for a forceful scenario of a change of power in Belarus. At the same time, he stressed the determination of the Belarusian government to resist such actions:

"That is, we are preparing a forceful scenario for a change of power. We see this. We will not allow this"he concluded.

However, this is far from the first time that Lukashenka has voiced information on this matter.
