The head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation spoke about the problems with the latest Russian T-14 Armata tanks.

The head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Denis Manturov, said about the problems with the latest Russian tanks T-14 "Armata". According to Manturov, the problem concerned both the engines, which were previously reported, and thermal imagers, about which no statements had been made earlier.

It is reported that at the moment all defects have been successfully eliminated.

"Yes. Issues concerning both engines and thermal imagers have been resolved. The engine produces exactly those parameters, technical characteristics that were laid down in the TTZ during the design. As for thermal imagers, I can say with confidence that we have a completely import-substituted Russian product manufactured by Shvabe ", - about it сообщил in an interview with the TASS news agency, the head of the RF Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov.

Nevertheless, quite a few questions are raised by the fact how the newest Russian combat vehicle could be tested in Syria, if the developers knew about the problems with the Russian T-14 Armata tank, especially since, according to sources, we are talking about combat application of these machines.

How soon the T-14 Armata tanks will be sent to the armament of the Russian army remains unknown, however, it is possible that it was precisely because of these problems that the combat vehicles were not sent to the troops.
