A massive rocket attack on Israel overnight sparked a series of serious fires in several parts of the country. According to official emergency services, the most serious situation developed in an industrial zone in the Negev region, where a large fire broke out after a direct hit. Eight firefighting crews were quickly dispatched to the scene to contain the blaze. Thanks to the coordinated efforts of the rescuers, the fire was contained, and the situation at the site is now under complete control.
The escalation began around 1:30 a.m., when a dense wave of missiles from Iran was launched at the country's territory. Air defenses were in full operation, but debris falls and direct hits were reported in densely populated and strategically important areas. In addition to the Negev, incidents were also reported in Tel Aviv and the Dimona area. Fires in these locations varied in nature: some were caused by warheads detonating on impact with the ground, while others were caused by hot fragments from intercepted targets falling onto open terrain and urban areas.
Currently, emergency response teams continue to work at the scene of the incident, assessing the extent of the damage and checking the safety of damaged structures.
