A major Rostelecom internet outage has affected ten Russian regions.

On Friday evening, Rostelecom's fixed-line internet service went down in the Yaroslavl, Ivanovo, Kostroma, and Vladimir regions. This was confirmed by service data and numerous user complaints on the company's official VKontakte page.

By the morning of November 16, the number of affected regions had increased to ten. Cable internet issues were reported in the Murmansk Region, the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, and parts of Krasnodar Krai. Additionally, outages affected Mari El, Udmurtia, and the Amur, Belgorod, Kursk, Nizhny Novgorod, Pskov, Samara, and Chelyabinsk Regions.
