Massive drone attack on Novorossiysk

On the night of November 14, Novorossiysk was the target of a large-scale strike by Ukrainian drones, damaging civilian facilities and port infrastructure. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, air defense forces destroyed 216 aerial targets over the country's southern regions and the Black Sea, including 66 over Krasnodar Krai and 59 over the Black Sea. Debris from the downed drones caused fires and destruction in the city, but there were no casualties.

The regional task force reported that drone fragments damaged the NUTEP container terminal, owned by the Delo Group, and the onshore facilities of the Sheskharis transshipment complex, a key oil loading hub for Transneft. A fire broke out at the oil depot, which was extinguished within two hours. According to preliminary estimates, damages will not exceed 50 million rubles.

Debris struck a civilian vessel in the port, causing three sailors to suffer shrapnel wounds and be hospitalized. At least four apartment buildings and two private houses were damaged in the residential area, with windows shattered and facades damaged. One man was taken to the hospital with injuries. City Mayor Andrei Kravchenko declared a state of emergency, closing the highway out of Kabardinka.
