On February 13, 2025, the Odessa region was subjected to a large-scale attack accompanied by a series of powerful explosions. According to eyewitnesses, the detonations were so strong that their echo reached the territory of neighboring Moldova.

Local residents in Odessa and surrounding areas reported multiple explosions during the night. The attacks caused power and communication outages in some areas of the region. Officials have not yet provided details on casualties or the extent of destruction.

It should be noted that this is not the first time that explosions in the Odessa region have had an impact on neighboring Moldova. Earlier, on February 9, 2025, explosions also thundered in Odessa amid an air raid alarm, which caused concern in the border areas of Moldova.
