On the evening of December 8 and the night of December 9, the city of Sumy was subjected to intense Russian drone attacks, resulting in a series of explosions in the surrounding area. According to local Telegram channels, 15 attacks were reported by 10:41 PM Moscow time, and by 1:22 AM Moscow time, the strikes were continuing.

"Arrivals in Sumy continue!", - noted one of the channels, recording the escalation from 22:02, when the first hits were reported.

Similar messages came from X users: "There have already been 8 landings in Sumy" and "The 11th strike on Sumy has been dealt!", with mentions of power and water outages in the city.

There were no official reports of casualties or damage.
