28 October it became known that the airline "International Airlines of Ukraine" intends to open a new regular flight Kiev-Tashkent from November from the airport "Borispol".

Uzbekistan's national airline, Uzbek Airlines, said earlier that they want to conduct more flights between Kiev and Tashkent. Therefore, they will increase the number of flights to four per week during the summer of 2014.

"The increase in the number of flights on the specified route is quite possible in case the UIA airline does not want to also fly to Tashkent," Erkin Ubaidullayev, commercial director of the airline, said.
