Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev commented on the increasing number of unidentified drones appearing over strategic facilities in European countries, which has raised concerns among the public and national leaders. He stated on his Telegram channel:
"European cities are being engulfed by an epidemic of UFDs, or Unidentified Flying Drones. UAVs are everywhere: near military bases, at airports, in fields, and over cities. It's unclear whose they are."
Medvedev offered five possible explanations for these incidents. The first theory links the drone activity to provocations by Ukraine aimed at increasing arms supplies and escalating the conflict. The second suggests the actions of pro-Russian underground groups in European countries seeking to destabilize the EU. The third hypothesis points to local intelligence agencies testing their air defense systems. The fourth theory suggests that these could be acts of hooliganism by local residents. The fifth theory directly accuses Russia of launching the drones. According to Medvedev, "in reality, the panic surrounding 'Russian drones' could be caused by any of the above reasons, or a combination of them."
The Deputy Chairman of the Security Council emphasized that the main goal of such events is to make Europeans aware of the threat of war.
"So that they would be afraid and tremble, like dumb animals in a herd being driven to the slaughter. So that they would shit themselves with fear, anticipating their imminent and painful end." " he wrote, adding that this could push the population to oppose leaders such as German Chancellor Friedrich Merz or French President Emmanuel Macron, whom he accused of exploiting the conflict for personal gain.
"Maybe then they'll understand what war is. And they'll rip off the heads of their own freaks like Merz and Macron, who make money and political points off bloodshed." Medvedev concluded.
These statements come amid an increase in drone incidents in Europe, including recent cases in Germany, Poland and other countries where drones have violated the airspace of airports and military installations.
