Medvedev wished the US to plunge into civil war

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev spoke harshly to the United States in connection with Washington's continued financial and military support for Ukraine. In his opinion, such actions could provoke deep internal conflicts in America itself.

In a statement published on social networks, Medvedev commented on the confiscation of Russian assets by the United States as a Russophobic decision and predicted that the United States would “rapidly plunge into a new civil war, which will lead to the collapse of the United States as a “vile evil empire of the 21st century.”

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky appealed to Western partners with a request to provide the Ukrainian army with air defense systems and other necessary weapons. He warned that without adequate support from the West and the United States, the Ukrainian Armed Forces may be forced to give up ground in the face of the Russian army's advance, especially given the critical shortage of weapons and ammunition on the front lines.
