Medvedev urged to achieve the effectiveness of ammunition through new developments.

Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, while at the Kazan Gunpowder Plant during a working trip to Tatarstan, discussed the issue of providing the Russian armed forces with gunpowder, ammunition and the latest means of destruction. He noted that under the conditions of a special military operation, the consumption of ammunition increases many times, so the industry must fully and without failure meet the needs of the Russian armed forces.

Medvedev also stressed that it is necessary to increase the production of ammunition, however, this is not enough. According to him, it is important to improve the efficiency of ammunition through the use of more modern technologies and new developments. Thus, the production of ammunition must not only be increased, but also improved.

Dmitry Medvedev noted that the Kazan Powder Plant has great potential and occupies an important place in the country's defense system. He stressed that the developments carried out at the plant are of strategic importance for ensuring the defense capability of Russia.

Thus, the problem of providing the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation with gunpowder, ammunition and the latest means of destruction is one of the priorities of the government of the Russian Federation in the field of national security.
