Pyongyang, June 13 — Avia.pro. Another round of geopolitical tension has been recorded in the Asia-Pacific region, where the leadership of the DPRK has sharply criticized large-scale military contracts between Washington and Seoul.
According to an official statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Pyongyang categorically condemns the US government's decision to approve the sale of advanced missile systems to South Korea. The North Korean Foreign Ministry emphasized that the export of American weapons worldwide constitutes a direct and deliberate export of war.
North Korean diplomats noted that such actions are leading to the dangerous militarization of the region and undermining the fragile balance of power. According to industry analysts, Pyongyang perceives the new deliveries of precision-guided weapons as direct preparation for a possible armed conflict on the peninsula.
Pentagon and Seoul officials have not yet commented on the North Korean statement. Due to the escalating rhetoric, North Korean armed forces continue to maintain combat alert, and the situation in the demilitarized zone is under close observation by international monitoring missions.
