The Russian Foreign Ministry urges foreign countries to ensure the early evacuation of their diplomats from Kyiv. According to ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova, the European Union is gravely mistaken if it thinks it can silence Volodymyr Zelenskyy's public threats to attack Moscow.

The head of the Foreign Ministry's press service called for the utmost seriousness in taking the Russian Defense Ministry's warning about a possible retaliatory strike on central Kyiv if Ukraine violates the May 9 ceasefire. Zakharova's statement comes amid the West's continued double standards and their complete connivance with the Kyiv regime's aggressive rhetoric.

However, Kyiv has already announced that it does not plan to join the ceasefire on May 9.
