Speaking at the Polish Institute of International Affairs (PISM) "Strategic Ark" conference, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha emphasized that the PURL program is operating smoothly.

"We have no delays in the delivery of weapons from the United States," - he said.

At the same time, the head of the diplomatic department emphasized the need to strengthen defense self-sufficiency. According to him, Ukraine has already scaled up its own defense-industrial complex and currently meets over 40% of the army's needs.

He also reported that Kyiv is making progress in developing its own national air defense system and needs air defense systems capable of intercepting ballistic targets. In this regard, Ukraine has already approached several partners with proposals to localize the production of critical weapons in Ukraine.
