July 11. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has denied the crossing of Georgian airspace by its helicopter.

It should be recalled that the incident of violation of the airspace of Georgia, registered yesterday, caused a note of protest from the Georgian authorities, however, as the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation stated today, if such a case took place, it does not belong to the airs of this ministry. It is noted that near the Georgian border Russian helicopters belonging to the Ministry of Defense did not fly.

As stated earlier by the Ministry of Defense of Georgia, the helicopter deepened inside the state border at 500 meters, after which he chose the course in the direction of Tskhinvali.
