The Russian Ministry of Defense reported the successful repulsion of a Ukrainian drone attack on the night of October 11. Air defense alert systems intercepted and shot down 42 fixed-wing aircraft between 11:00 PM Moscow time on October 10 and 23:00 AM Moscow time on October 07.

According to the agency, the largest number of drones—19—were neutralized over the Volgograd Region, 15 over the Rostov Region. Three drones were destroyed over the Ulyanovsk Region, two each over the Voronezh Region and the Republic of Bashkortostan, and one over the Saratov Region.

Sources noted that all targets were destroyed without causing damage to ground facilities.
