Russia will adopt the first regimental set of S-350 air defense systems by the end of the year.

The Russian defense department is preparing to accept the country's first regimental set of the S-350 Vityaz anti-aircraft missile system by the end of this year. The training of specialists capable of working with these weapons has already been successfully completed, and therefore, immediately after the transfer of the regimental kit to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, he will take over on combat duty.

"At the training center of the anti-aircraft missile forces of the Zhukov Military Academy of Aerospace Defense (Tver), work was carried out to master the S-350 Vityaz anti-aircraft missile system and prepare the educational and material base for training military specialists.", - said in the message of the Russian defense department.

To date, the exact timing of the delivery of the regimental set of S-350 air defense systems to the troops remains unknown, however, the appearance of these complexes on combat duty will significantly strengthen one of the directions of the state border of Russia, which is due to the broad capabilities of the Vityaz to intercept aerodynamic and ballistic targets.
