SVO News, December 14, 2025, Avia.pro. Between 12:00 and 16:00 Moscow time, Russian air defense alert assets intercepted and destroyed 40 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the most intense attacks occurred in border regions: 12 UAVs were shot down over the Bryansk region, eight over the Kursk region, and another eight over the Belgorod region.

Additionally, five drones were destroyed over the Oryol Region, three over the Kaluga Region, two over the Ryazan Region, and one drone each was neutralized over the Tula and Tambov Regions. This significant number of downed drones indicates a massive attempt by the Ukrainian side to conduct reconnaissance or strike Russian targets.

There are currently no reports of casualties or damage to infrastructure, but local authorities are urging residents in border areas to exercise caution and avoid debris fall zones.
