The Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Sergei Shoigu, announced the statistics of the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) for May. As part of a press conference, Shoigu noted that the Ukrainian side suffered significant losses in armored vehicles: more than 400 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles were disabled. In addition, 238 units of field artillery and mortars were destroyed during the hostilities.
