New details of the incidents with the fall of an American drone near the Russian borders have become known.

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported new details of the fall of the American tactical strike drone MQ-9 Reaper near Russian borders. As it turned out, the drone was not shot down or rammed by Russian fighters, as the American media claims, but crashed due to a sharp maneuver and, probably, the subsequent failure of control systems.

“The flight of the unmanned aerial vehicle was carried out with transponders turned off, violating the boundaries of the area of ​​the temporary regime for the use of airspace, established for the purpose of conducting a special military operation, communicated to all users of international airspace and published in accordance with international standards. In order to identify the intruder, fighters from the air defense forces on duty were raised into the air. As a result of sharp maneuvering around 9.30 (Moscow time), the MQ-9 unmanned aerial vehicle went into uncontrolled flight with a loss of altitude and collided with the water surface. Russian fighters did not use airborne weapons, did not come into contact with an unmanned aerial vehicle and returned safely to their base airfield., - it is said in the official message of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The American side, despite Russia's detailed response, accuses Russian pilots of provoking this incident. However, she has not yet given official statements regarding the reasons for the crash of the drone, either conducting her own investigation, or trying to hide important details in order to expose the Russian side responsible for the incident.

It is noteworthy that there have been reports that the Russian military could also take possession of the wreckage of a crashed American tactical strike drone, as evidenced by the audio recordings of the radio communications of Russian sailors.
