The Ministry of Defense of Russia was convicted of falsifying information on MIG-29CMT fighters.

As follows from the official data provided by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, MiG-29CMT fighters, during military exercises held this year, were able to independently detect and destroy unmanned aerial vehicles that imitated the enemy. According to experts, Russian combat aircraft could not cope with this task, because the radar equipment used in fighters simply cannot detect such subtle targets.

Information resource "Military Review" published an entertaining article in which experts completely refute the arguments of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. In particular, 50 centimeter unmanned aerial vehicles have an effective dispersion surface of the order of 0,02 sq. 29 kilometers.

Analysts did not rule out that the possible success of the MiG-29CMT fighter was the installation of reflective lenses, which increased the EPR of unmanned aerial vehicles, but this fact does not allow us to objectively talk about the effectiveness of the task being performed.
