The Russian military set another record for the destruction of MLRS and HIMARS systems.

According to the official data of the Russian Defense Ministry, over the past day in the zone of the special military operation, the Russian military destroyed at least 7 MLRS and HIMARS missile launchers. This is an absolute record for the destruction of such missile weapons.

“As a result of strikes with high-precision weapons of the Russian Aerospace Forces in the areas of the settlements of Shevchenkovskoye and Grigorovskoye of the Zaporozhye region, five launchers of MLRS multiple launch rocket systems made in the USA and MARS-II made in Germany were destroyed. In the area of ​​​​the settlement of Ilyichevka of the Donetsk People's Republic, two US-made HIMARS launchers were destroyed", - said in the official message of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The day before, the Russian military managed to destroy 2 MLRS installations and one HIMARS installation, while another 4 MLRS launchers received critical damage.

With the use of what kind of high-precision weapons the strikes were carried out is unknown.

At the moment, it is known that in total Ukraine could have 9 M270 MLRS launchers, 3 MARS II launchers and 2 M270 LRU launchers. This, taking into account the data of the Russian Ministry of Defense, indicates the fact that Ukraine can only own 3 launchers.
