The Russian Ministry of Defense presented a video capturing the moment of the strike by the Iskander operational-tactical missile system on the Mirgorod airfield, located in the Poltava region of Ukraine. As a result of this strike, a Ukrainian Su-27 fighter was destroyed.

The published footage demonstrates the accuracy and effectiveness of the strike, which was aimed at neutralizing an important enemy military facility. According to the Ministry of Defense, the strike was carried out as part of an operation to suppress the military infrastructure of Ukraine, which is used to conduct military operations against Russia.

The Mirgorod airfield, located in central Ukraine, has long served as a base for Ukrainian military aviation, including aircraft that took part in combat missions.
