Ministry of Defense of Ukraine: Kyiv does not seek to seize the territory of Russia

In Ukraine, they said that they did not want to seize Russian territories.

Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov, in a recent interview with the Funke media group, confirmed that Kyiv does not seek to seize Russian territory, but aims to establish "good relations" with the Russian Federation. This statement was made in the context of Kyiv's months-long warnings about an upcoming offensive.

"We don't need Russian land", - Reznikov said bluntly, answering a question about Kyiv's potential counteroffensive against Russia. The minister's response was caustic and categorical, immediately noting that Ukraine was not planning an attack on Russian territory.

At the same time, when asked about the recent shelling of the Belgorod region, Reznikov answered evasively, emphasizing that Kyiv "is implementing its plans in different parts of the battlefield."

The defense minister also noted that "part" of the attacks could be attributed to the actions of former Russian citizens who have now become part of the Kyiv regime. Regarding possible offensive actions, Reznikov mentioned that they could be carried out "in two or three places on the battlefield, both in the south and in the east."

Obviously, Reznikov's statement sounded rather pathetic, especially after today's attack on Moscow.
