The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), having failed to achieve their goals and having suffered serious losses in the Yuzhnodonets direction, attempted to break through the defensive lines in the Artemovsk area. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the Ukrainian military made eight offensive attempts. However, all of them were successfully repulsed and the enemy failed to achieve his goals. The defense department stressed that wedging into defensive positions was not allowed.

In addition, the department noted that the daily losses of the Ukrainian armed forces in this direction amounted to 415 servicemen. These are significant losses, which confirm the seriousness of the clashes and the intensity of hostilities on this sector of the front.

Thus, the situation in the Yuzhnodonets direction remains tense. The armed forces of Ukraine continue active attempts to break through, but at the moment their offensive actions have not led to success. Russian troops, in turn, successfully hold the defense, repelling all enemy attacks.
