The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus summoned the Charge d'Affaires of Ukraine and declared an official protest in connection with the incident with drones that occurred on the territory of the republic. The Belarusian authorities demanded that Kyiv take measures to prevent similar situations in the future, which could lead to a further aggravation of the situation in the region.

The statement by the Belarusian Foreign Ministry emphasizes that actions such as the use of drones pose a serious threat to stability and security not only for Belarus, but also for the entire region. Minsk urgently demands that the Ukrainian side stop provocations and take all necessary steps to prevent them.

In addition, if the Ukrainian embassy is unable to influence the actions of its government and prevent such incidents, the question of the advisability of the further presence of the Ukrainian diplomatic mission in Belarus will be raised in Minsk.
