A series of explosions were reported in Kyiv and Dnipro on the night of October 10, amid an air raid alert. According to Ukrainian media, the strikes in Kyiv hit the area of Thermal Power Plant No. 6, where, according to eyewitnesses, plumes of black smoke rose. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko warned residents of possible power and water outages due to damage to power facilities.
Several explosions accompanied by air defense systems were also reported in Dnipro. Telegram monitoring groups noted the presence of over a hundred drones in the skies over Ukraine. The attack caused power outages in several parts of Kyiv, Dnipro, and Kryvyi Rih. Residents are urged to remain in shelters and avoid windows. There are no official casualty figures yet.
